George Cathcart Woolley's currently extant diaries cover the years 1901-26, separating into 4 volumes. Each of the volumes covers various ranges of years, e.g.

• Volume 1 (1901-07)
• Volume 2 (1907-10)
• Volume 3 (1910-19)
• Volume 4 (1919-26)

An interesting note is that when the Sabah Museum first opened in the 1960s, George Woolley's collections form the basis of the showing. The following artifacts are:

• 2,843 photographs (which is filled in 17 albums)
• 1,797 glass negatives covering the years 1909 to 1920
• his papers and a large photographic collection
